Disney World Tips | 5 Favorite Magic Kingdom Rides

It’s time to continue with my Disney World series! Today I’ll be talking about my top five favorite, can’t-miss rides that are in the Magic Kingdom, which took me forever to narrow down. What’s your favorite ride? Let me know in the comments – pretty please!

Jungle Cruise (Adventureland)

The puns are what make this attraction great. The first time I went on this ride I just thought our tour guide was abnormally quick-witted and clever.

A classic. No trip to Disney is complete without going on this ride. Maybe go on it near the end though so you aren’t stuck humming the song all day.

Space Mountain (Tomorrowland)

When I rode this in September I (accidentally) got the front row! The fast takeoff, the stars in the complete darkness, it’s amazing.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Fantasyland)

A newer ride at Disney World. Thank goodness there were built-in games to play in line because it was a long queue. Why did I say queue? But the ride was adorable so the wait was worth it.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (Tomorrowland)

I’m surprised at myself for putting this as #1, but I love it. Four people can fit to a car and you compete for a high score by twisting and turning and trying to shoot as many toy targets as you can before the ride ends.

  1. I love this! Reading your lists makes me feel like I get to return to Disney World for a few minutes, at least. I loved the Jungle Cruise, and like you, when I first rode it I was so impressed by how witty our guide was. Haha! I guess that’s a sign of a good performer!

      1. That’s to bad…we used to go on off season and never had to get off the boat, we just went around and around as many times as we wanted…there was never a line…same on all the rides…some ended and you had to walk back to the beginning but never a wait….can’t do all those people…LOL is the haunted house still there? and what about Tom Sawyers Island..??? It was fun too. Have you been to Knotts Berry Farms…not even sure they are still open…Kat

  2. heey, if you have the chance, visit Disneyland Paris, I’ve been there every year since I was 4 years old ( 17 now, no I don’t think I’m too old for this) and I still love it as much as the first time I was there. It’s like visiting your childhood don’t you think? Keep going with those posts, great job!:)

  3. Ever since I saw this post, I’ve been humming Its a Small World. A family friend even bought a wind up doll with the tune, what a nightmare! I think my favourite ride has got to be Thunder Mountain Raildroad though, we went round 5 times last time I went to DisneyWorld, Orlando! Great Post!

    1. And now that I read this comment, the Small World tune is now stuck in my head. Haha 🙂 Gotta love it, though. Surprisingly, I don’t think I’ve ever been on Thunder Mountain Railroad!! No idea why. Thanks for commenting!
